"Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better"

The past few months I have been able to do some"me" shoots. Photo shoots that I come up with the concept, style, vibe, plan it, select a model who fits the aesthetic, and have a blast doing. I did a free feeling boho shoot, a cheeky boudoir shoot, a day in NYC sesh, a renegade urban shoot, a whimsical yoga inspired shoot, an oregon inspired lovers sesh, and now this shoot with a queen bee and retro vibes. All of these sessions give me the chance to try new things, find new locations, try out new poses, and new editing styles. I have one or two more "me" shoots planned this year (be on the lookout for them), but this one definitely gave me some new favorites. Not only was the session amazing, the images perfect. But the model was a killer choice. This gorgeous girl said two things at her shoot that made me feel like the world will be in better hands soon.

1. She is 16 and a senior in high school. She is graduating early. The dedication, persistence, and courage it takes to push yourself through your studies to move forward in life so quickly, it inspires me so much. THESE types of females are our future.

2. She said one of her friends from school was the one who inspired her to graduate early. Seeing females, at this age, inspiring each other SO POSITIVELY is a marvel. Turning the cliche 'mean girl' stereotype from a negative to a positive..Teenage females who LIFT EACH OTHER UP, INSPIRE AND IMPACT ONE ANOTHER, instead of gossiping, hurting feelings, and all of those other not so great things. THIS IS WHAT THE WORLD HAS BEEN WAITING FOR.

I hope ya'll love these images as much as I do <3
